A mother and her 23 years old daughter were killed and the daughter’s fiance was seriously injured when a train wrecked a baby- car at a level crossing at Carrum, 20 miles from Melbourne, this morning. The killed were Mrs Ruby Wilde, aged 41, and Miss Alice Wilde. Kenneth Crowhurst, aged 25, was injured. Pieces of the car were scattered for 70 feet along the track. The | daughter was killed instantly, and the mother died in hospital. j Crowhurst was driving the party | to a picnic at Frankston, six miles further along the line.
