CHARGES AGAINST STALIN
DOCUMENTS WRITTEN BY TROTSKY PUBLICATION IN NEW YORK (Received December 27, 9.40 p.m.) NEW YORK, December 26. The “New York Times” publishes exclusively what Is alleged to be a document .written by M. Leon Trotsky which has just been received here. It charges M. Stalin with deliberately liquidating the communist revolution by killing off its old leaders, and declares that the lives of those who confessed in the August trial had been promised them if they gave the desired testimony, but M. Stalin betrayed his promise. It is his intent to eradicate the growing discontent of the workers and populace in general by terror.
