LINER REFLOATED

(Received December 27, 7.5 p.m.) LONDON, December 26. The German East Africa liner Pretoria, which is making her maiden voyage to South Africa, grounded in the Solent after embarking passengers at Southampton. Five hundred passengers and a crew of 250 are on board. With the assistance of four tugs the liner was refloated arjd returned to Southampton. The Pretoria was undamaged. After replacing 900 gallons of fresh water which was jettisoned to en able her to be refloated she will leave for the Cape on Sunday.
