TRAM STRUCK BY LIGHTNING
DRIVER ESCAPES SERIOUS INJURY (Received December 27, 7.50 p.m.) SYDNEY, December 26. A tram driver had a remarkable escape from death when lightning struck his tram, enveloping him in flames. No passengers were on the tram. The driver was taken to hospital suffering from shock.
