CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT AT SHIRLEY BOGEY HANDICAP WON BY R. PEARSON There were large entries in the opening day’s play of the Christchurch Golf Club’s Christmas tournament, which was commenced at the Shirley links on Saturday. The weather was Ideal and some good cards were returned. The bogey handicap played in the morning was won by R. Pearson from A. M. Satterthwaite In a play-off.
