MR ARMSTRONG TO TAKE A HOLIDAY

[THE PRESS Special Service.] WELLINGTON, December 22. The Minister for Labour, the Hon. H, T. Armstrong, is going into holiday retirement for 10 days. He hopes to have complete freedom from politics and industrial affairs. “Mrs Armstrong and I have secured a bach on one of Auckland’s beaches,” the Minister said this evening. “We are going into retirement for 10 days or a fortnight, and are leaving no address. After that I shall have something to say to the editorial critics who have been a bit astray on the basic wage and other industrial questions. Meanwhile, I hope they will have as merry a Christmas and as happy a New Year as the majority of workers and employers.”
