RECENT MONETARY AGREEMENT
w FOUR COUNTRIES UNABLE TO ADHERE ATHENS, December 20. The governors of the Central Banks of Greece, Jugoslavia, Rumania, and Turkey, at a conference, expressed regret at their inability to adhere to the British and American monetary agreement. They would prefer to act in the Bank nt International Settlements as a single body while advocating the early and definite stabilisation of the currencies of the principal powers.
