Ihe club has been unfortunate this year in having to abandon the usual band concert, but it is nevertheless carrying out its programme of providing 500 hampers- for families in poor circumstances. Every care is taken by the club, which is in close col aboration with experienced social workers, to see that the hampers go only to the most deserving and unfortunate persons, and the public may rest assured that the money they generously give will bs wisely and efficiently used.
