NOTICE is hereby given that the Ellesmere Lands Drainage Board proposes, at its meeting to be held on the 6th day of January, 1937, to consider a Motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing by way of special loan of the sum of £BSO, for the purposes of providing the Board's proportion of the cost of constructing a diversion of the Halswell River to Lake Ellesmere, the said loan to be secured by a special rate to be levied on the capital value of the land comprised in the Motukarara subdivision of the i Board's district, such special rate to be levied at the rate of 140-125 of a penny in the £ on all lands classified as Class A therein, and 6-125 of a penny in the £ on all lands classified as Class B therein, and the loan to be for a term of 25 years. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Ellesmere Lands Drainage Board not later than the day preceding the said meeting. * DATED this 22nd day of December, 1936.
