—♦ ■ CORNWELL CUP CREW The committee of the Canterbury Yacht and Motor-Boat Club has selected L. Beaumont as skipper and E. Beaumont as spinnaker-hand to represent Lyttelton in the Cornwell Cup contest to be held at Tauranga early next month. The Takapuna sailing boat Sandy will be sent north by the Port Whangarei next Monday. Diamond Harbour Ferry Service A special late launch will leave Lyttelton for Diamond Harbour at IO.dO on Christmas Eve and on New Years Eve. On Christmas Day the last launch will leave Diamond Harbour for Lyttelton at 4.55 p.m. Personal Mr D S. Kerr, superintendent engineer to the Canterbury Steam Shipping Company, was admitted to bt. George's Hospital yesterday suffering from -injuries received in a fall last week. An operation is to be performed to-day. ________ THE LYTTELTON FERRY LAUNCHES, LTD.
