We live within 40 miles of Christchurch, and think ourselves very fortunate if we receive our mail by 4 o'clock. The storekeeper has the mail delivery, and this should not be allowed. Our paper is like an evening paper instead of a morning one, so I think "Watford Street" is very fortunate to receive his by noon. Just imagine, on the West Coast they receive their mail many hours before we do. and it is time the local delivery was improved.—Yours, etc.,
