DOG TRIALS DELAYED BY SLEET AND SNOW

• ♦ (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) INVERCARGILL. June 18. Heavy intermittent showers of sleet and falls of snow at Mossburn to-day made conditions for the third day of the South Island dog trial championships unpleasant and difficult, and caused a serious delay in the running of the second event, the heading, pull, and yarding, with 56 competitors. Little more than half had run when an adjournment was made at 4 o’clock.
