WAITAKI LICENSING COMMITTEE

THREE APPLICATIONS GRANTED Three applications, which had been adjourned from the annual meeting, were granted at the last meeting of the Waitaki Licensing Committee. Mr C. R. Orr Walker, S.M., presided, over Messrs A. McPherson. J. C. Winning, C. G. Holmes, and C. Coventry. The applications were those of Murdo Urquhart, for a publican’s license for the Makikihi Hotel; Frederick William Wilson, for the transfer of an accommodation license, for the Silverstream Hotel, to John Carlisle Beale; and John Carlisle Beale, for an accommodation license for the Silverstream HoteL
