POSTER COMPETITION JUDGED

♦ N.Z. LIBRARY ASSOCIATION (fBISB ASSOCIATION TBC.B9*AM.) WELLINGTON, June 17. The posters entered in the New Zealand Library Association’s poster competition were judged to-day, the placings being:— M. Taylor (Wellington) .. 1 R. A. Boyd (Auckland) .. 2 A. C. Leach (Dunedin) .. 3 B. Marris (Wellington) was highly commended. The judges were Mr G. G. Stewart, Mr W. S. Wauchop, and Mr J. Norrie. Their comment was that a high standard of work was shown throughout the competition. There was a wide range of ideas, and some surprisingly good effects had been obtained with two colours, to which the artists were limited by the conditions.
