GROUNDING OF NORWEGIAN TANKER .BRISBANE. March 27. After the enquiry into the grounding of the tanker Vard&as, the Marine Board' severely censured the coastal pilot, Captain J. W. Friend, for having failed to satisfy himself, as opportunities occurred, that the course he intended to steer was being strictly adhered to.
