TWO FURTHER ELECTIONS i ANNOUNCED
(BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.) (Received February 13, 9.52 p.m.) RUGBY, February 12. Dame Laura Knight is the first woman to be appointed a member, of the Royal Academy since 1769. The only other womea members were two foundation members of the institution, which was founded in 1769. . Arthur George Walker, A.R.A., a sculptor, and Henry Rushbury, A.R.A., an engraver, have also been elected to the Royal Academy. [Dame Laura Knight’s election to full membership of the Royal Academy was announced in a message printed yesterday.! .
