WORKSOP EXTENDED MEETING The second ordinary annual of shareholders of the Worksop Ex tended Company was held at Re«ton on Wednesday. December 11. Forty one shareholders were sonally and by proxy, ? oldu !lii!SSn chares. Mr D. A. McVicar, chairman of directors, presided. . The directors’ report and balancesheet, and statement of profit and loss account for the year ending September 30, 1935, were received and “SSSSi D. A. McVicar, of Keefton and A. M. Moore, of Christchurch, were re-elected directors for the ensuing year, and Mr H. BickneU of Christchurch, was re-elected auditor.Ueneral satisfaction was expressed by the shareholders with the result of tne year's operations. GOLDEN SANDS, LIMITED The secretary reports the following particulars of the gold return announced on December •7:— Approximate value of gold produced, 350 z sdwt, at £7, equal to £248 15s; approximate mining expenditure, £lO2. The figures are in connexion with the foregoing parcel only, covering a period of one fortnight’s work.
