THE NEW HOUSE

TO THE BDITO* OF THE PHESS. Sir, —I agree with your contributor “A Rationalist,” being one myself. I should like to know the beliefs of present and past Parliamentary lead-

ers, such, for instance, as our new Prune Minister, and the members of his Cabinet, the Hon. John Ballance, Sir Robert Stout, Sir Harry Atkinson, Sir Joseph Ward, Sir Julius Vogel, the Rt. Hon. J.G. Coates, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, and the Rt. Hon. W. Massey. Much virtue is being claimed for religious influence in moulding character and developing citizenship; thus a little enlightenment might be useful. ,We could also extend the enquiry to ’embrace the leading statesmen in Great Britain.—Yours, etc., GEORGE McCORMICK. Belfast, December 13, 1935.
