To give a faster service to railway passenger traffic between the Hutt Valley and Wellington, the Railways Board proposes to introduce motor rail cars to that line, according to Mr W. H. Field, M.P. He sa,d these would cross the Rimutakas, and possibly run right through the Wairarapa. These cats would be able to reduce the time spent in travelling, as they would accelerate faster than an ordinary traixu—Press Association.
