OPAWA BURGESSES' ASSOCIATION
The Qpawa Burgesses' Association met last night, Mr F. H. Dephoff presiding. Other members present were: Messrs W. A. McDowell, J. Pycroft, H. Jackson, L. Jarden, H. Vincent, E. R. Adcock, and A. J. Coveney (secretary). A letter was received from the Heathcote County Council stating that the footpath in Garland's road would be tar-sealed when the Railway Department shifted- the crossing-keeper's cabin. It wa3 moved that the association should write to the liailway Department, advising it of the condition set down in thi3 letter. It was also moved that the Autoraobtfe Association should be asked to place a triangular danger-sign on the Blchmond'terrace side of the Opawa traffic bridge. In consequence of Mr H. G. Ablett's resignation, Mr L. Jarden was elected delegate to the United Burgesses' Association. , «.■•■-■- , " : "
