BRISBANE MEAT STRIKE

* UNANIMOUS DECISION ON CONTINUANCE BRISBANE, February 18. The three unions'involved decided unanimously to continue the Bris-. bane abattoirs' strike until the Meat Industry Board has consented to negotiate with them outside the Arbitration Court. The unions called for volunteers to picket certain butchers' shops. Brisbane so far has not suffered from a meat shortage, as the master butchers are killing their own cattle and sheep, and, by drawing on export stocks, there is sufficient meat to supply the city's requirements for three weeks.
