CONFIDENCE IN SCOUT MOVEMENT

❖ LORI) BADEN-I'OWELL SAYS GOOD-BYE (Received January 30, 11.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, January 30. Lord Baden-Powell, who will sail by the Aorangi to-morrow, delivered a farewell message to Australia this afternoon. He said the scout movement in the Commonwealth had made tremendous advances since his last visit some years ago, and he declared nothing more inspiring could be imagined than the recent scout jamboree, comprising 10,000 scouts from 23 countries and states, living in camp together. He looked on the future of the scout movement with the utmost confidence and pride, both here and abroad.
