AVON CLUB At the half-yearly meeting of the Avon Rowing Club last night the rules of the club were subjected to a thorough revision. A large number of members were present, and the business was expeditiously carried through. Mr A. T. Evans was in the chair. CHUISTCHURCH REGATTA The following entries have been received for the Christchurch regatta to be held at Stewart's Gully on Saturday next, February 2: — Light-weight Maiden Fours —Avon, Akaroa, Timaru, Union, Wellington, Canterbury. Senior Doubles Sculls—Canterbury, Avon, Cure. Akarou. Maiden Fours —Avon, Akarou, 'Timaru, Suntner-Redcliffs, Union (two crews), "Wellington. Star, Canterbury (three crews). "Youths' Double Seulls —Canterbury, Avon, Cure, Akaroa, Sumner-Redeliffs. Union. Senior Fours —Avon, Cure, Akaroa, Canterbury. Junior Double Sculls—Canterbury, Avon, Cure, Timaru, Union, Wellington, Star. Youths' Fours —Canterbury, Avon, Akaroa, Union, Star. Maiden Double Sculls—Avon, Akaroa, Sumner-Redcliffs, Union, Wellington, Star, Canterbury, Timaru. Junior Fours—Avon, Cure, Union, Canterbury. Light-weight Maiden Double Sculls — Avon, Cure, Akaroa, Timaru, Union. Welter-weight Junior Fours—Avon, Sum-ner-ltedcliffs, Union (two crews), Canterbury. The first race will commence at 1.15 p.m.
