GIFT OF SOUTH AFRICAN WAR y VETERANS (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGKAM.) WELLINGTON, October 29. To commemorate their association with the original ship, Waiwera, which took the first two New Zealand contingents to the Boer War, the South African War Veterans' Association has made arrangements to present a suit-ably-inscribed brass plate to the second vessel of that name, which is in New Zealand waters. The presentation will be made when the ship is in Wellington. on November 17.
