Crs. C. M. Williams, ,1. D. William;:, and Barnard were appointed a committee to arrange a meeting of citizens, to be held at 2.30 p.m. on Sunday nexi. Mr F. A discussion took place on the council's proposed housing scheme. Cr. Gray submitted the scheme should be for applicants for purchase only, and gave notice of motion that the council's previous resolution on the housing scheme being for optional rental or purchase be rescinded. It was resolved that the necessary authority be obtained to sell that portion of land between Fuller and Hilton I streets at present shown on the borough plan as a street
