■" - fo "■ ■ ■ MEETING OP REGISTRATION BOARD The board established by the act of 1928, met in Wellington last week, the last meeting being held at Dunedin in May. There were present:— Mr Robert Parker, C.M.G., chairman, and Mr L. F. Watkins, of Wellington; Dr. S. K. Phillips and Mr Barry Coney, of Auckland; Mr Ernest Empson and Mr Sidney Williamson, of Christchurch; Dr. V. E. Galway and Mr Max Scherek, of Dunedin. Mr W. W. Bird, Government nominee, is absent from New Zealand. Applications for registration were considered, also a long order paper covering policy questions, and several proposals of importance to the musical profession were dealt with. The next meeting of the board will probably in Auckland in January next.
