NOVEL RAILWAY EXCURSION

Arrangements are in progress by the Corsair Bay Club for a proposed railway excursion of a rather novel description. It is a visit to the works of the Waitaki hydro-electric power station on October 22 at a return fare which it is believed will prove attractive. The idea is to do the whole journey by rail, utilising the Public Works line from Kurow to the site of the works.
