SPANISH CABINET RESIGNS
COALITION POSSIBLE MADRID, September 8. Senor Manuel Azana's Cabinet has resigned. The Government's resignation was due to the defeat of the majority of its candidates in the elections (held last Sunday) for the newly-created Tribunal of Constitutional Guarantees. The candidates were elected by the municipalities, the result being a victory for the Agrarian party, which is- the extreme right, and for the Radicals led by Senor Alejandro Lerroux, who vehemently demanded the Government's resignation. President Zamora is now consulting the party leaders, and a coalition excluding the party leaders may be formed.
