Captain Francizck Ilynek and f Lieutenant Znignicw Burysynski, I Polish balloonisls, who have been ! lost since September 2, when they | took off in the annual Gordon Ben- ! nett balloon race, arrived here on J Saturday. They said that their bal- ! loon had been forced down in the i forest of Moren, 100 miles away. • They were not injured, and walked aJJ but 12 miles of the distance here. The search for Ward Vanorman and Frank Trotter, the United States entrants, the only others not reported, is being continued. It is unofficially announced that the Poles won the distance event, their lauding being about 1000 miles from Chicago, where they took off. Vanorman and Trotter are believed to be somewhere in an isolated part of Canada.
