LODGE MEETING. At the fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Kaia-Toa Lodge N.G. Sister I. Scott presided over a large attendance of members and 'visiting officers, and members of the Loyal City of Norwich Lodge. An invitation was accepted to visit Loyal City of Norwich Lodge at its next meeting. It was reported that the district officers would pay an official visit on August 7. A maternity claim was passed for payment. Two new members were initiated into the order. Recently the sisters entertained Sister M. O'Rawe at a gift evening. After the business a dance was held. Golf. The Diamond Harbour Ladies' Golf Club will play the third round of the Thomas Cleek competition in conjunction with a medal match to-morrow afternoon. An inter-club match between teams representing the Templeton Ladies' Golf Club and the Diamond Harbour Ladies' Golf Club was played at Diamond Harbour yesterday, the visitors winning after a closely contested match. Following were the games, Templeton players being mentioned first:— Foursomes—Mrs Lewis and Mrs Smith beat Miss M. Cook and Mrs E. Rudkin, Miss Dickey and Miss Middleton lost to Mrs T. Archer and Mrs D. Comer. Miss Still and Mrs Humphreys lost to Mrs W. Paine and Miss M. Sutton, Mrs Dickey and Mrs Mardon lost to Miss P. Shayle-Georgeand Mrs F. E. Sutton. Singles—Mrs Lewis beat Miss Cook, Mrs Smith lost to Mrs Rudkin, Miss Dickey beat Mrs Archer, Miss Middleton beat Mrs Comer, Miss Still beat Mrs Paine, Mrs 'Humphreys lost to Miss Sutton, Mrs Dickey beat Miss Shayle-George, Mrs Maroon beat Mrs Sutton.
