CABLEGRAM NEWS TO AUSTRALIA.
TO THE EDITOR OI THE PRESS. Sir,—l feel sure that you would put yourself out to do a good turn for New Zealand. The trouble in the past has been, in my opinion, the wrong kind of news is sent from Australia to New Zealand and vice versa. Recently a message was sent about a linesman meeting his death. Do you think this kind of thing important enough to cable to Australia? I am of the opinion that we should get more important news from New Zealand and this kind of thing deleted. I just put this as a suggestion because New Zealand is handicapped by the little news she receives in the Australian papers, and what is sent is generally of the murder or accident type, and news which really does not help the Dominion.—Yours, etc., JOHN FULLER. Sydney, April 6, 1933.
