MAJESTIC THEATRE.
"CHANDU THE MAGICIAN."
With the versatile Edmund Lowo in tho title rolo and a well-knit and intensely dramatic plot revolving about the invention and thoft of Regent's mysterious doath-ray by the fiendish lloxor, "Chundhu, tho Magician," . the feature at the Majestic Theatre, sets a new high mark for screen novelty and entertainment. Lowe's work as tho master of Yogi mysteries, whoso magic abilities are strained to the utmost in rescuing tho hapless inventor and his family from Roxor's clutches, is the outstanding player of the cast. But dramatic honours also go to Ircno Ware, the "Vanities" beauty making her initial film appearance as tho Princess Nadji, to Bela Lugosi as tho vindictive Roxor, and to Henry B. Walthall as the inventor. Herbert Mundin, in a Cockney part, supplies most of the eomedy touchos.
