CHRISTCHURCH-CORSAIR CLUB.
On Sunday last members of the Christchurch-Corsair Club proceeded to Waikuku beach, where the motor events for the season were concluded, in spite of the weather being unfavourable. The results of the competition for the cup and trophy for the year were as follows:—O. Frost (Ariel) 1, B. Williams (Ariel) 2. A start was also made with the competition for the Pirate Cup, the results being as follows.— Kicking the Football—C. Frost 1, J. Deyell 2. Serpentine Bace (Men)—B. Hatchard i B. Williams 2. Serpentine Eace (Women)— Miss «?wann 1. Miss Kidston 2. Bouncing the Ball (Men)-B. Williams 1. M. McClurg 2. Bouncing the Ball (Women)-Mis 8 Kidston 1, Miss McCracken 2. Motor Quoits— B. Hatchard 1.
