OBITUARY.

MR ALFRED BUMN. The death occurred on Tuesday at his residence, Forth street, Christchurch, of Mr Alfred Bunn, who arrived in Lyttelton by the Waitangi in 1878. He made his home at View Hill, Oxford, until about ten years ago, when he removed to the City. Mr Bumr was a keen politician and took an active interest in the Baptist and Methodist churches at Oxford. He was also a strong supporter of the prohibition cause. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon at Bromley Cemetery. A service was conducted at the Richmond Methodist Church by the Rev. F. Greenwood and the Eev. C. E. Ward. At the graveside the Rev. L. A. North officiated. ) Mr Bunn is survived by a widow, six sons and three daughters.
