TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS: On December 17th, trains will leave Christchurch for the Racecourse at frequent intervals from 11.50 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., returning from the Racecourse at frequent intervals from about 4.50 p.m. These trains stop at Addington for passengers. Delayed evening trains will leave Cliristchurcli as follows: For Springfield 5.31 p.m. (Sockburu 5.46 p.m.), for Southbridgc 5.41 P-rn. (Sockburn 5.56 p.m.), for Ashburton and Methven Branch 5.45 p.m. (SocKburn 5.59 p.m.), for Waikari 5.50 p.m. (connects Addington with the second train from the Racecourse for Rangiora 11.5 p.m. Usual 2.0 p.m. train for Little River leaves Cliristchurcli 5.36 p.m., and Sockburu 5.49 p.m. Usual 3.23 p.m. train from Little River leaves Little River 7.0 p.m--arriving Christchureh 8.14 p.m. Service cars from and to Akaroa will connect at Little River with these trains.
