" t A crowd of peasants numbering 10,000 demonstrated against any revision of the Peace Treaties, and burned effigies of Mussolini and the Hungarian Premier, Gombos, at Cluj, in Transylvania. The crowd also attacked the Hungarian Consulate, breaking windowsA torch was thrown into a room in the Consulate and the Rumanian flag was hoisted. Rumania has apologised to Hungary for the incident. The failure of the negotiations for a Russo-Rumanian non-aggression paet has made the Rumanians uneasy about their frontiers.
