CHURCH OF CHRIST.
SUNDAY SCHOOL CONCERT. The llrds Sunday School concert in tho now hall was held last night by the Moorhouse Avenue Church of Christ. There was a large audience and tho various items, which were as follows were well received: —Pianoforte solo Neroli Han ship; vocal solo. Eric Moses: Goblin's Song, Miss Olsen's class; song in character, Shirley Ames; vocal tolo, Aisla Cuthbertson; dialogue, "Plodders," junior boys- song, "Three Green Bonnets," junior girls l recitation, "Stick," AValter Xeilsou; dialogue. Miss Craig's class; vocal duet, Gwen itcßride and Lola Mauship; playette, "Catching the Ghost," junior Biblo Class; vocal solo, Lorraino Ford; recitation, Walter Eeiter; vocal solo, Gwen Simpson; interval; pianoforte solo, Daphne Eraser; vocal solo. Lola Manship; song, "Daisy Queen," junior girls; a scene without words, boys; recitation, Dorothy Olsen; vocal solo, Northleigh Iteeves; surprise item, senior Bible Class young men; vocal solo. Beth Stevens: dialogue, Miss Readhead's class. Sunday School Ecport. During the concert Mr A. L. Pigti presented tho annual report and balance-sheet of the Sunday School. A balance of £1 0s 6d was disclosed. Tho annual report stated that -ho desire of many years had been realised in the erection of the fine up-to-date new building, | which would mean improved workiug facilities and greater progress. Attendance at Sunday School classes had been very gratifying. The sum of £l4 16s 9d had " heeu passed over to tho building fund as a result of the solfdenial boxes given to each class, i.nd Sister Keadhead was to be congratulated on hor efforts for this fund. " The school in general had achieved excellent results in tho recent examinations, and the Moorhouse Avenue School had won the the shields for schools with over JO pupils. Prise-winners had been Doris Cuthbertson ✓ second prize, grade 4), Aileen Crowe (second prize, CTBde 6), Iris (fourth prize trade 6'' Eigbt scholars had receivdd honour and 38 had passed. The average at£n£nee for the year had been 66, with 84 on the roll. " The staff numbered 18, *nd there were 11 classes. I
