The Government of India is taking drastic measures to quell Bengal terrorism, which has recently been intensified, in the form of murders and attacks on Government ofiicials, the police, and political leaders, brigandage, mail robberies, and thefts of arms and ammunition. Accordingly six battalions of Indian, and one battalion of British infantry are proceeding to Bengal early in October to' assist the police m combing out the Terrorists.
