♦—"- ■ INVITATIONS TO 750,000 BUYERS. (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIKELE3S.) (Received August 12th, 5.5 p.m.) , RUGBY, August 11. Invitations to 250,000 buyers in the United Kingdom and to 500,000 buyers in 79 foreign countries will shortly be sent out for the ..British/ industries Fair, which, is to be held next February. The last Fair recorded a 4000 increase .in trade visitors, and each yoar the Fair increases in siz?e.' An attraction this year -will be the branch Fair, which will again be held at Birmingham, including exhibits of the latest machinery for mining, quarrying, road-making, and street-mending. Nearly 1000 firms have already booked space, and 90 per cent, of the floor has already been allotted. Furniture wijl be exhibited by 136 firms and textiles by 127. Numerous firms will exhibit leather, leather goods, sports' goods, stationery, fancy -goods, toys, games, jewellery, Bilver, and electro-plate.
