ACCIDENTS.
FOOT CUT WITH AXE. P. Lukis, a single man living at Waikuku, was admitted to tlie Christchurch Hospital yesterday after cutting his left foot with tin axe. An operation was performed, and his condition is reported to be satisfactory.
HURT WHILE CRANKING CAR. While cranking his motor-car', Dr. W. 11. McKee, of Mcthven, sustained a fracture of the leg. The car had been accidentally put into gear and ran forward, pinning Dr. McKee against the end of the garage. DEATH FROM INJURIES. (rr.jsss 'association tblegui.h.) PALMERSTON N„ August 12. Charles BcaVe'n aged 23, a farmhand, who fell under a dray at Koputaroa last Saturday, suffering internal injuries, died in hospital to-night.
