WAIMAIRI BRANCH OF FARMERS' UNION.
. — ♦ ■ Mr S. G. Farquhar presided over the monthly meeting of the "Waimairi branch of the Farmers' Union. The River Styx Committee of the Waimairi County Council, Messrs W. P. Spencer (chairman), C. W. Moore, W. G. Chapman, and W. Price were present, and various matters in connexion with the Styx river were discussed. Mr R. W. Hawke. M.P., attended and gave an address on poultry registration.
