BOWLING.
INDOOR RINK. The following will represent tho Christchurch Bowling Centre versus the Indoor Bowling Club neit Monday, at 7 p.m.:— Barret, Leggat, Fox, Finnegan (s> •, Sandford, C. Piper, A. Dickson, Bollintson («); BuTson, Evans, Morrison, Oaltey (s). Indoor Club—Elsom, Clark, Burgess, Vogel (»); King, \V. Brown, Gosney, Ives (a) ; McCullough, R. .Smith, Eusmll, Munn (b). UNWOOD CLUB. The admission of women bowlers to the Linwood Club was mentioned at the annual meeting, and Mr H. Burson gave notice of motion: "That women be admitted to the club as bowlers." A special general meeting discussed this motion, and passed it by a large majority. Tho same meeting also decided that women should be allowed the use of the small green overy day. including Saturday, without restrictions as to the hours of play. Another special general meeting this week decided that the subscription for women bowlers should be the same as that of the croquet flayers. 5.2: A com* mittce was appointed to organise the-woraeu's bowling section, and there are indications that it will soon be s very strong en*.
