Terrorist activity has intensified in India in the past few weeks. Two Indian constables were attacked last night in an Allahabad street, one being seriously injured. A large store ot ammunition and four revolvers were discovered concealed in the roof of on© suspect's house. Meanwhile, Government officials and police in tho country districts, especially in East Bengal , are working "under nerve-racking conditions, being always accompanied by armed orderlies. It is believed that a powerful organisation is supplying ample funds for the clandestine purchase of arms, a large quantity of which undoubtedly is being smuggled into the country by Indian seamen, who are reaping a rich harvest.
