The Secretary of the General Post Office has received the following advice from the Postmaster at Porangahau" VV reckage consisting of the combing of a launeli, approximately fourteen feet by six feet, painted whit® with blue green backing, was found near Blacknead Point this morning, after very heavy 6eas. Possibly this lis part of the missing launch Advance." [The Advance, with a crew of three, left Napier for Wanganui last month, and her » non-arrival caused a search to be made by aeroplanes, but no sign of her was found. Some days ago Porangahau reported that a launch was sighted far off the land, apr parently making north and having trouble with the engine.]
