■■ ■ ■ '——♦ CHRISTCHURCH SITTING. The Transport Appeal Board commenced its Christchurch sitting on Saturday morning in the Old Provincial Council Chambers. His Honour, Mr Justice Frazer, presided, and with him were Messrs Thomas Jordan, of Masterton (appointed by the municipal authorities), and Lisle Anderton, of Auckland (appointed by the Motor Associations). The list of fixtures is as follows: To-day—Appeal by S. E. Clements (Christchurch to Oxford service). . Tuesday, • June 7th—Newman's Motors, Ltd., v. J. Kerr, West Coast Motors (Hokitika to Arthur's Pass); appeal by W. E. Stickings, Gould's Motors (Christchurch to Kaiapoi). Wednesday, June 8 th—Appeal by Miller and Irvine, Williams Motors (Christchurch to Parnassus); H. W. Lister v. A. F. Shanks (Timaru to Waimate); H. W. Lister v. Collings' Parlour Cars, Ltd. (Timaru to Fairlie). The sitting is expected to conclude on Wednesday.
