THEATRE ROYAL.

"GOLD DUST GERTIE." The popular comedienne, Winnie Liglitner, is the star in the merry comedy now showing at the Royal, "Gold Dust Gertie." Her efforts easily eclipse *tho,se in "Gold Diggers of Broadway," and with the inimitable pair, Olsen and Johnson, she has made of her latest film a real Winnie Lightner picture. Olsen and Johnson are the most famous pair of stage clowns in America. On the face of it, "Gold Dust Gertie" seems entirely devoid of a reasonable plot, but a complication of characters offers any amount of good comedy situations. Two men are married to twin sisters, for instance, while Winnie Lightner plays the part of a bathingsuit model who desires above all else to marry the most inaccessible of her friends. The ivhole thing might be devoid of sense or reason, but it is full of glorious laughs.
