WINCHESTER SHOW.
LARGE ENTRIES RECEIVED. In spite of the drought iti the early part of the season, the entries for the Temnka and Geraldine Agricultural and Pastoral Association's twenty-tirst annual show, which will be held at Winchester on Thursday week, are unusually high, and are nearly a reford. The entries total 1307, compared with 1238 last year, and 1357, which was a record lor the show in 19-29. The entries in the sheep classes are a record for the Association, there being,2oo this j'ear. compared with 1&6 last.year, and 146 in 1929. the Association's record year. Cattle have increased from 63"last year to 83. The light horse section, in which there are 280 entries, compared with 2-58 last yenr, will be particularly good. The following are the entries tor 1932. the figures for last year being given in parentheses: — Sheep. 200 (186): cattle, S8 (66); horses. 2SO (258): dogs. 23 (2-5); p'S s > 22 (31): fruit and vegetables. 124 (63); miscellaneous. 397 (336): grain and seeds. 51 (S3): roots. 119 (141); total, 1307 (1233).
