Dunedin—Mild weather, with more sunshine than cloud and a light northerly breeze, prevailed yesterday. The barometer was rising and registered 30.35 last night. Forecast. General Situation—An anti-cyclone still covers Now Zealand, bnt is losing intensity. A elight depression is located oft the New South Wales coast and a more extensive one over South Australia. Winds—Light to moderate and variable, with northerlies predominating.

Seas (New Zealand waters)— Smooth to moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea—Freshening east to north winds; scn3 moderate and rising in the northern portion.
