VERDICT OF MURDER.
ANGRY CROWD AT INQUEST. (united press association—by klzctr:o TRLSOBAPH— COPYBIOHT.) LONDON, February 10. There was a sensation at the inquest on Vera Page, aged 11, whoso dead body was found in a garden at Notting Hill. After tho jury had returned a verdict of murder against a person or persons unknown, a crowd of women booed and shook their fists at Percy Rush, aged 41, a married man, whom the Coroner closely questioned. There was evidenco that a fingerstall smelling of ammonia was found under Vora's body. This was practically tho only clue. Rush admitted that he knew Vera, as his parents lived in the same house, and also that he cut a finger at the time of the murder, and that he Used ammonia as he was a flannel washer at a laundry. The jury arrived at its verdict in five minutes.
