HAMPERS FOR THE POOR.

DISTRIBUTION TO-MORROW. ALL ARRANGEMENTS COMPLETE. \ 1 Every arrangement is now complete for the distribution of hampers to the poor on Christmas Eve by Rotary Club members and friends. Last evening, at Kincaid's Bacon Factory, Lichfield street, a full tearii of Rotarians gathered to . finish the work begun on Saturday, and 250 more hampers were packed and added to the thousand already completed. This increase in the original number has been made possible by the fine spirit of charity displayed by every class in the City. Those who helped in the packing last night went to work with a will, and the large parcels wer§ . filled and secured in remarkably short time. Delivering the Hampers. The distribution of the hamper,s the - most important, and one of the most difficult, parts of the Rotary Club'g undertaking, will take place on Christmas Eve. Cars will assemble at 7.30 v v a.m. to-morrow, and it is anticipated - that the work will occupy most of the day, as 1250 parcels have to .be delivered. Thirty or 40 cars will take ■ part in the distribution and houses' with- ■ in a radius of seven miles from th»" Square are included in the drivers' lists. The Rotary Club, has expressed iis gratitude to those persons outside th« Club who have assisted in many way« in the undertaking, and to those who will be lending their cars to-morrow. !
